Details
What's wrong: The breakaway switch may have been incorrectly wired, which can cause the trailer brakes to not function in the event of a trailer separation from the tow vehicle.
Why it matters: If the trailer detaches from the tow vehicle, the breakaway switch may not activate the brakes, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will rewire the breakaway switch, free of charge. The recall began July 29, 2019.
