NHTSA recall 19V799000
Exterior Lighting · Thor Motor Coach
Details
What's wrong: The rear reflectors within the taillight lens may be too high, reducing the vehicle's visibility. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."
Why it matters: The incorrectly positioned reflectors may make the motorhome less visible to others on the road, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Tmc will notify owners, and dealers will install adhesive reflectors, free of charge. The recall began January 2, 2020.
