Details
What's wrong: The certification label indicates an incorrect gvwr and axle rating. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 cfr part 567, "certification."
Why it matters: An incorrect gvwr could result in the vehicle being overloaded and the axles failing, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Heartland will notify owners and send them corrected replacement labels, free of charge. The recall began May 11, 2020.
