What's wrong: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2021 fifth wheel Northpoint 387rdfs(lz) recreational trailers. The welds on the axle spindle may fail, causing the wheel/spindle assembly to break away from the axle tube.
Why it matters: If the wheel/spindle assembly separates from the axle tube, it can increase the risk of a crash.
The fix: Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the axle, and replace if necessary, free of charge. The recall began December 30, 2020.
