What's wrong: The u-bolts on the axles may have been improperly tightened, causing the bolts to loosen and the axle to slide.
Why it matters: A sliding axle can result in a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will tighten the axle spring u-bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 27, 2022.
