Details
What's wrong: The index spring may be installed improperly.
Why it matters: An improperly installed index spring may result in the inability to shift into the intended gear, or cause the gear to slip without warning, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will install the index spring in the correct position, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 5, 2023.
