Problem: Buell motorcycles (buell) is recalling certain 2021-2022 1190 rx and sx motorcycles. the index spring may be installed improperly.
Risk: An improperly installed index spring may result in the inability to shift into the intended gear, or cause the gear to slip without warning, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will install the index spring in the correct position, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed may 5, 2023. owners may contact buell customer service at 1-616-719-5917.
