Details
What's wrong: An insecure ground connection may cause the electronic stability control (esc) to be inoperative. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 126, "electronic stability control systems."
Why it matters: Driving with an inoperative electronic stability control system can increase the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will tighten the ground nut assembly, free of charge. All affected vehicles have been remedied.
