Details
What's wrong: The second-row center seat belt webbing may be damaged. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) number 209, "seat belt assemblies."
Why it matters: A damaged seat belt may not adequately restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
The fix: Dealers will inspect the seat belt webbing and replace the seat belt assembly if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 20, 2025.
