Problem: Newmar corporation (newmar) is recalling certain 2022-2023 supreme aire motorhomes. the cap screws under the steering wheel cover could loosen and cause the steering wheel to separate from the steering column.
Risk: Separation of the steering wheel could result in the inability to steer, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will install new steering wheel cap screws, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed on december 30, 2022. owners may contact newmar's customer service at 1-800-731-8300.
