Recent recalls
Fuel System, Other #96V150000 · 1996 · 30 units
Problem: The liquid propane (lp) gas supply hose located adjacent to the lp tank can contact the tank plumbing guard causing the hose to wear through allowing lp gas to be released.
Risk: Leakage of lp gas increases the risk of a fire.
Fix: Dealers will add an elbow to the manifold pipe which will redirect the hose around the guard giving the hose adequate clearance from the edge of the guard.
Equipment #96V145000 · 1996 · 39 units
Problem: The certification label on these vehicles contain incorrect tire pressure data. this does not conform to the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 120, "tire selection and rims for motor vehicles other than passenger cars."
Risk: These vehicles could be overloaded increasing the risk of a vehicle accident.
Fix: Owners will be provided with new certification labels and installation instructions. if the owner so desires, winnebago dealers will install the label for them.
