Problem: Ducati north america (ducati) is recalling certain 2025-2026 streetfighter v4, streetfighter v4 s, panigale v4, and panigale v4 s motorcycles. excessive heat may damage the rear brake hose between the abs control unit and brake caliper, resulting in a sudden loss of the rear brakes.
Risk: A sudden loss of rear brake function increases the risk of a crash or injury.
Fix: Dealers will replace the thermal shield, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed march 9, 2026. owners may contact ducati customer service at 1-888-391-5446. ducati's number for this recall is srv-rcl-26-001. vehicle identification numbers (vins) involved in this recall became searchable on nhtsa.gov on february 3, 2026. this recall expands and replaces previous nhtsa recall numb
