NHTSA recall 01V339000
Power Train · Triumph Motorcycles America, Ltd.
Details
What's wrong: The clutch control cable can fray and fail. The barrel at the end of the inner cable seizes in the control lever bore, thereby stressing the inner cable.
Why it matters: This causes the rider to be unable to engage the clutch, increasing stopping distances and inhibiting driving control.
The fix: Dealers will replace the clutch cable. Owner notificationbegan January 25, 2002.
