Tires #06V333000 · 2006 · 429 units
Problem: Certain travel trailers may have been equipped with improperly constructed spare tire support brackets that cause the spare tire to hang too low to the ground.
Risk: If the spare tire contacts the ground it can break away from its support, creating a road hazard which may result in vehicle damage and/or personal injury.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and relocate the spare tire and carrier to allow sufficient ground clearance free of charge. the recall began on october 31, 2006. owners may contact fleetwood at 800-445-3307.
Equipment #05V181000 · 2005 · 129 units
Problem: Certain towable travel trailers were built without a bedroom emergency egress window.
Risk: In the event of a fire or other emergency, persons in the front bedroom area must exit through the access door. if the access door is blocked, there is no way out of the trailer, increasing the risk of injuries to the trailer occupants.
Fix: Dealers will replace the current sliding window with an emergency egress exit window free of charge. the recall began on may 27, 2005. owners may contact fleetwood folding trailer at 1-814-445-9661.
